Stump Ninja started as a home project. Waaaaaaay too many stumps to call a commercial stump grinder....it would cost a fortune!
So instead, I decided to buy a stump grinder and do it myself. I mean after all, most of the stumps I was hitting with my mower were less than 4 inches wide...yet still bothersome!
I took and a shovel and ax to one small stump....literally took me hours! Plus I cheated and used my sawzall! That was enough for me to realize a stump grinder was necessary...but the cost of commercial stump grinding was through the roof!
So I decided to buy a stump grinder since I have multiple properties that ALL NEED SOME SMALL STUMPS REMOVED.
Told a few friends if the need some help with those pesky, toe bumping, lawn mower inhibiting stumps, that I would do the job for them....and so...Stump Ninja was born!
